My brother and I flew out to Seattle from Kansas for Thanksgiving so I could attend my first NHL game. I started out as a fan of the Kansas City Mavericks (the Kraken’s ECHL affiliate) and quickly fell in love with the Kraken as well!
We were in CPA for about 5 minutes before we were approached and asked if we wanted to play a game on the ice during 1st intermission. (A very easy yes!)
So we got to watch most of the 1st period from behind the glass and after a game of Yeet the Fish, I ended up winning this signed hockey stick!
It cost an arm and a leg to ship home, but I could not have asked for a better first game experience!
