    Friendly reminder, Colin Campbell ruined Scott’s career because of this. He met with Scott, calling him an embarrassment, threatened him, told the Coyotes to bury him in the minors, and then emailed all 30 teams telling them to not pick him up.

    This was not covered, because Bob McKenzie, James Duthie, and other key hockey media are close friends with Colin.

    This whole situation still makes me upset. Like that was the most interesting All Star weekend in recent memory. People were actually invested and cared. It was a good thing yet they changed the whole weekend to prevent it from happening again.

    Ryan Reaves is the only answer. The game is in Toronto. We currently hate him because he is terrible and has 2 more years at 1.35 million for some reason. Heā€™s also the only pure enforcer left really (thatā€™s not a good thing). Reaves as a double troll job against the NHL and the Leafs in their own barn is the only answer.

    Ngl, Iā€™m suprised his entire story wasnā€™t put forward to be a movie. Make it a hockey comedy called All-Star, with Adam Sandler playing John Scott. It would be perfect.

    The John Scott All-Star game was the most exciting one in years. And that’s the only one I’ve watched in full in recent times. The rest are boring…

    The All Star game is a joke. It used to mean something but it’s a circus with the 3v3 bs games… who tf cares. Vote for all stars at the end of the season and play the game after the cup final is done, like the pro bowl in the NFL or 1 day after the regular season ends.

    Go back to Conference vs Conference and the winning conference gets home ice for playoffs regardless of final regular season record.

    I’m willing to bet if you have that at stake the game will be taken seriously.
