Let me know your thoughts on this prospect trade…
I wonder how shitty this trade is
Now all we need is the third Thompson brother; Twig
Tyce Thompson was placed on the waivers earlier this season and no one had claimed him.
This doesn’t move the needle much, for either team. If there’s anything here, the Islanders may have a gem on their hands with Thompson. He was never given much of a chance in Jersey, so hopefully the kid gets a shot at blooming in NY.
Durango played with Nico
Durandeau can play . Isles just gave Holmstrom more of a shot with Barzal and Horvat. Hope he gets a shot with NJD.
DO ANY OF YOUR TRADE RUMORS EVER ACTUALLY COME TRUE??? 😂
The Isles have a lot of Durandeau's. I think he can play now, but the Isles have no room as they are VERY loyal to their bottom 6…especially, their bottom 3. They did the same thing with Bellows, but for different reasons…"We feel you would have a better shot at making another team, so we will do you this favour". Tyce, is a projected top 6 winger, which is what the Isles need. Is he the right fit? We'll see, but this team KNOWS him due to Brent Thompson being around for ages. Tyce is also a late bloomer like his brother. He missed two drafts because he was 5'10, but now he's 6'2 and might still be growing.
