@Edmonton Oilers

Connor McDavid is in Hell right now.

We need to talk about Connor McDavid and how he’s reacting to the firing of Jay Woodcroft. We’ll talk about that and catch up with the Edmonton Oilers on today’s NHL hockey video!

  1. Insane take on the McDavid quote- he ALWAYS looks like that, and WHAT ELSE is he going to say. You expected him to just shit on the coach??? Dog do you watch ANY sports, this is completely normal.

  2. So according to this, we now know that no matter the reason, if you, as a NHL coach have bad results with your team, you are getting fired. That's very inspirational for new, potencial coaches isnt it?

  3. McDavid is the worst "Big Star" of any major sport, since…..ever. When was the last time the "far and away greatest player" of a sport had this LITTLE charisma, gravitas, personality???🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
    Never!!!!

  4. McDavid is a loser. He was a loser in Junior and he's a loser in the NHL. His teams have only won three championships, all full of all-stars. He has no championships at the club level in either junior or the NHL. 1. 2013 U18 Junior Tournament 2. 2015 World Junior Championship (WJC) and 3. 2016 World Championship. McDavid is a loser.

  5. Bad coaching, deserved boot to the ass. If the team are playing like shit you as a coach have to shake the team up. Coach should know the team and what will work on the guys, maybe you bench someone, have extra practices or something else, but if you don't get the team going there is not much else to do than to get a new coach.

  6. I’m going to get some heat for saying this, but I don’t see McDavid finishing his contract with Edmonton. As a Rangers fan I would love to see him play in New York, and I think the Rangers have the players and draft picks in order to get him. I don’t think a trade, or any trade talks happen this year, or next year, but if the Oilers keep getting bounced out early in the playoffs, one has to think Connor would want to leave. At which point in Connor’s career (if he doesn’t have a Cup yet)do you think he would tell the GM that he wants to get traded? When he’s 30, or older?

  7. I can't believe people are blaming "bad bounces". Are you watching the games? The problem is the same problem it's been for the last however many years. Their defensive game is utterly atrocious, and they refuse to address it.

  8. The contract they gave to Nurse is horrendous. Oilers somehow can’t figure out how to build a good defence

  9. Holland did some great stuff in Detroit but it doesn’t seem to be going as well in Edmonton. Woodcroft is definitely not the only one to blame here

  10. McDavid isn’t in hell. This is a pessimist take on things. Oilers beat the Islanders in that game and haven’t looked back.
