We need to talk about Connor McDavid and how he’s reacting to the firing of Jay Woodcroft. We’ll talk about that and catch up with the Edmonton Oilers on today’s NHL hockey video!
Insane take on the McDavid quote- he ALWAYS looks like that, and WHAT ELSE is he going to say. You expected him to just shit on the coach??? Dog do you watch ANY sports, this is completely normal.
So according to this, we now know that no matter the reason, if you, as a NHL coach have bad results with your team, you are getting fired. That's very inspirational for new, potencial coaches isnt it?
McDavid is the worst "Big Star" of any major sport, since…..ever. When was the last time the "far and away greatest player" of a sport had this LITTLE charisma, gravitas, personality???🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Never!!!!
McDavid is a loser. He was a loser in Junior and he's a loser in the NHL. His teams have only won three championships, all full of all-stars. He has no championships at the club level in either junior or the NHL. 1. 2013 U18 Junior Tournament 2. 2015 World Junior Championship (WJC) and 3. 2016 World Championship. McDavid is a loser.
Bad coaching, deserved boot to the ass. If the team are playing like shit you as a coach have to shake the team up. Coach should know the team and what will work on the guys, maybe you bench someone, have extra practices or something else, but if you don't get the team going there is not much else to do than to get a new coach.
I’m going to get some heat for saying this, but I don’t see McDavid finishing his contract with Edmonton. As a Rangers fan I would love to see him play in New York, and I think the Rangers have the players and draft picks in order to get him. I don’t think a trade, or any trade talks happen this year, or next year, but if the Oilers keep getting bounced out early in the playoffs, one has to think Connor would want to leave. At which point in Connor’s career (if he doesn’t have a Cup yet)do you think he would tell the GM that he wants to get traded? When he’s 30, or older?
I can't believe people are blaming "bad bounces". Are you watching the games? The problem is the same problem it's been for the last however many years. Their defensive game is utterly atrocious, and they refuse to address it.

Is the Oilers coach more pissed about losing his job or the fact that the San Jose Sharks coach still has his job?

We want Holland OUT!
12 million a year hell yep 🤦
He needs to get out of Deadmonton, the city where careers go to die.
I want anyone to tell me how Dustin Schwartz is still there as goalie coach?
They need to bring back the Mike Smith Experience! 😄
I'm sure making $12.5 million per year to play a sport is helping ease his anxiety.

FIRE KEN AND THE GOALIE COACH 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️ not wood
this is the worst coach firing in history he had the best winning record in history in edm what a joke
The oilers are garbage. Trash team. Trash fans.
The GM just needed someone to blame because it's his fault that the team is so bad, not the coach.
Well the gm structure is crazy bad edmonton is like the leafs no goaltenders and no defense no 2nd 3rd 4th line sucks

Ken Holland is an absolute joke
Yep making 12.5 million dollars and living the best life hes in hell
Leafs suck
mcdavid could win the cup and he would still like that, he certainly doesn't look that upset
This didn't work for the Flyers. Edmonton will play over up for the new coach but next year? We'll see
after the islanders win, I'm honestly happy with the direction we're going in.

If McDavid wasn't thinking about leaving before, he sure is now.
i think that they should fire eck
Woodcroft should not of got fired the GM should of. Coming from a flames fan

Connor McHellebuck
I really don't see that the team will much at all until holland is gone.

The Oilers are an elite ringette team at best.
The contract they gave to Nurse is horrendous. Oilers somehow can’t figure out how to build a good defence
Holland did some great stuff in Detroit but it doesn’t seem to be going as well in Edmonton. Woodcroft is definitely not the only one to blame here
McDavid to LA seems more and more likely.
Mcdavid slumps just after a huge contract, how convenient
McDavid isn’t in hell. This is a pessimist take on things. Oilers beat the Islanders in that game and haven’t looked back.
McDavid is wealthy and healthy. McDavid will be alright. He’s not in hell.
