A Look at the Wildly Unpredictable St. Louis Blues

They have had some great games and some terrible games, sometimes right after one another. I have no idea what to expect from this team as the season rolls along.

  1. I've been a Blues fan since the birth of the franchise, and, I have to say, this is the most enigmatic Blues team I've seen them be to start a season–I want to believe, BUT, this is NOT a playoff team–it's only a matter of time before the thin hull of this team cracks and the bottom falls out–it is my belief that by 50 games in, it will be apparent they will not make the playoffs. Most Blues fans will hate me for being so brutal on this current group, but, i'm just being realistic. Thanks for a great video analysis.

  2. Such a weird year to be a blues fan. You turn on every game just to see what version of the team you're going to get. Binnington has certainly had a bounce back compared to last season… Outside of Neighbors rise, that's the only bright spot to look at.

  3. Shannon I loved this. This is the single most bizarre season of hockey by this team I have seen in over 40 years of watching the sport. I can't explain it beyond they score first and they win, if they don't they lose. It seems to be the only reliable way to see which version of the team has shown up that night.

  4. Blues fan here. This is kind of what I expected from them this year, a team without much of an identity with some talent here and there that will finish in the middle of the pack. Give them two years to get some cap space and promote their young prospects.

  5. This was suppose to be a rebuilding year so I am all for the chaos of this season after last season's mess.

  6. If blues stay healthy, we have a chance to be playoff team.

I just have feeling that when we get couple injuries our whole team crumbles.

  7. If the caps keep defying gravity i wonder if they will be deserving of a similar video soon lol

  8. I like to see them win but this team isn't good enough to make noise in the playoffs. And I could easily see them slipping cause our offense has been better then expected. Our defense is as bad as it was expected tho. I'll just have to see but I could see a big losing streak or a big winning streak soon.

  9. As a diehard blues fan they’re definitely frustrating. They have issues on the road and nothing is ever consistent. I don’t no what to do to fix this.

  10. I’m aBlues fan who watches every game…I’m either very content when they’re on and angry when they’re not. There is no in between they’re either very good or horrible. The PP is horrendous but I can’t see it staying at10% much longer. If it does goodbye playoffs.
