What was the Preparation H play of the game?

  2. Icommentoncrap

Gonna have to score more than just a penalty shot we want to win games

  3. PrinciplesRK

Tuch (hurt) – Mittelstadt – skinner

Greenway (hurt) – Tage (hurt) – Quinn (hurt)

    Peterka – Cozens – Benson

It’s not going to get better soon, especially if we give up a goal immediately every game

  4. Son_Of_The_Empire

I LOVE WHEN OUR GOALIE IS +2.08 GSAX AND WE WASTE IT BECAUSE WE CANT GENERATE GOOD SCORING CHANCES

  5. joeyg151785

If Tuch ends up missing time, we are screwed.

  6. spidysweb87

After yesterday it was nice to see the Sabres bounce back and lose 1-2 at home.

  7. dorsheldoof

If Tuch is out for an extended stretch that may be the last straw ..taking a holiday from the Sabres

  8. barffolemeow

I’m probs just gonna stop watching if they get scored on first, it’s pretty dismal if they don’t score first

  9. Lugy_The_Meh

So evident that they have no game plan. Same old slow break in, slow passes, reactive instead of proactive. Cant think of an easier thing to play against. At this point I wouldn’t be surprised if the Sharks could beat us.

  10. AussieTrogdor

If we could not concede in the first period that would be great

Also annoying that Saros is so good

Early goals against sink the team again. Tuch leaves the game with an injury. We can’t find the back of the net. Watching this team right now is unbelievably frustrating.

  12. Well they played a strong back half and got goalied by one of the best in the league.

The result is not nearly as important as Alex Tuch’s health. They simply cannot lose him for any extended period, and with how bleak things look now, it’ll get a whole lot worse.

Shout-out to Dylan Cozens. He called himself out after last game and he showed up big today. He was awesome and could have easily had 3-4 goals.

Edit: good the two most useless idiots in this sub contributed to this discussion. They had an Xgoals of 3 and scored 1. I’d call that getting goalied.

This team seems to lack structure in all zones

  14. Responsible-Fox-9082

Jesus fuck why can they not show up in the first? We show up in the first and play like that 3rd and we win. But no we go into it say “hey you want a 2 goal lead” and then play handicapped because they have momentum on their side on top of 2+ goals.

UPL deserves better he was stealing everything he xould

  15. Sucks to be you guys still watching this team, I’ve moved on to the much healthier hobby of meth.

  16. Well if we can just figure out how to get out of playing the first period every night we’ve got a winning team.

  17. CaresAboutYou

Missed Tuch a lot in those last few min. Mostly feel bad for UPL who played unbelievably well IMO – need to be able to score more than 1 goal to win games! I thought we had a lot of good chances though and we were playing hard. Cozens’ best game of the year i think by a lot, he certainly backed up his talk from last night, dude was playing like a man possessed.

It will be easier to play from 0-0 than from 0-2 deficit so hopefully soon we cut that first period shit out. I had fun watching the game tonight, unlike last night, I’m glad I tuned in.

No moral victories or celebrations for keeping it close. They got worked once again. The Preds are not a good team, yet they largely outclassed the Sabres on the road.

    Something’s gotta give.

  19. stuiephoto

Hot take. Team played 2 periods of high level keepaway to make it look like we were the better team.

  20. Sabres8127

Can’t wait to watch UPL dominate the league with another team.

  21. Crispy0423

No chemistry on offense this year. Scoring looks like it takes too much work. Everything from the outside. No puck luck.

If Tuch is out, then call up the Amerks. They know how to win.

  22. xBialyOrzel

UPL was great. The majority of the team was many deviations below league average. I think I’m ready to move on from the entire coaching staff.

  23. SupersonicJaymz

Positive notes: Cozens had his best game of the year, Luukkonen played another good game, Ryan Johnson continues to be far and away the best defensive addition to the 23-24 Sabres lineup.

  24. Acceptable_Code_4462

Have we lost a game with bryson in?

  25. ShmoopToThrill89

I’ve sadly called it. No playoffs again this year. Hanging up the jacket for another year.
Team is broken. Too soft, too one dimensional.

Edit: is there another team in the league that gives up multiple goals within less than 2 minutes of each other?

  26. IcyTransportation492

How is it that i feel ok with a loss by one..lmao

  27. deGrominator2019

How can we bring back largely the exact same roster, and be so much worse? Lol, I don’t get it. I don’t see how this team gets above .500 again or staying there long. They all yapped about how hungry they were for playoffs after barely missing them, wtf happened??!!!

  28. I watched Oppenheimer tonight instead. Seems I made the right decision

  29. the_missing_worker

I was at the game tonight.

I got to watch Mitts and Skinner try and figure out how to play with our captain removed from his natural environment of the fourth line. I will say this, he skates his ass off. He really is the effort guy he’s made out to be.

He’s also dumb as a brick. It’s difficult for me to imagine that he was the only good choice to take some first line minutes. But he did, and he looked extremely outmatched in wits by the Predators.
