  1. I honestly like the confidence of Armia to simply shoot the damn puck, lots of players with great shots needs to take notes from him, Slafkovsky, Pearson, Anderson, even Suzuki and Caufield.

Stop overthinking or forcing the pass or trying to do a fancy top corner that will miss and act as a clearance for the other team.

  2. Anderson gets a free ride and up a line and Slafkovsky who has been improving gets demoted ? Everyone expects the kid to shine and he keeps getting shufgled around. Consistant linematres is what he needs. And Anderson needs his ass parked on the 4th line or the bench until he wakes the hell up.

  3. Why is everyone b*thing about the Habs ?! We knew that they won't make the playoffs this year so just enjoy the kids play and our last chance to get a top 5 pick …after that theirs no looking back

  4. At least Armia is back and better than ever, Slaf looked good on the 3rd line, right at home. Anderson should of stopped at the net to protect the goalie. His overskating cost a goal. I can't wait for Savard to back then the defense will tighen up. He's a good mentor for the young guys.

  5. I'm confused how I felt about that Detroit game…Mtl comes out super flat and yet again chasing the puck after the Grey Cup Alouettes come out for the pre-game??? I give a lot of credit to the aggressive play from Detroit who dictated play (wish Mtl played like that!), and yes, we can always use the injuries excuse BUT, never a great way to start a home game. Yet you have to credit the Habs for coming back to scratching out a point and getting it to OT. I look at a team like the Vancouver Canucks…a team that looked in shambles after last season but a coaching change and a few low key trades/acquisitions and look at them so far this season. The main difference I see between the Canucks&Habs is their core young players are mid-late 20's…Mtl have guys that are 19 to early 20's. Are fans willing to wait another 3-4+yrs before our young guys start reaching their full potential? I would so love to be in on what the Hughes/Gorton PLAN is….but I can almost guarantee they won't last 3-4 more years unless they make siginificant additions to this team in the next 1-2yrs. My limit to see true progression by this mgmt group and roster, is the '25-'26 season. Yes I know…patience, PATIENCE! Sooooo difficult!LOL

  6. If you watch the replay on the goal Anderson would have had to let his check on Fisher go in order to stop on a dime in Front of Allen to clear the puck. I raised and eyebrow when Gary Galley said that. Who would have thought Allen would be distracted by something shiny in the stands. haha!
