easy to win games, as a matter of fact hard to lose them , when we are facing goalies with 760 GAA in the game…..

It was a W. Isles got an undeserving 4 pts. on two game trip. Led from start to finish so no lead blown. Even lee chips in with a goal-pp. And in typical isle fashion out shot badly again. Isles score 5 and 4 on trip against canes and cats b league goalies. And as was case vs. sens another b league goalie was in net. NJ's goalies just suck. It seems opponents don't fear sorry isles offense and just throw their b league goalie out there. Isles rarely see a top notch goalie. So therefore if that continues all season and teams choose to start b league goalies isles offense will suddenly look potent. And in a match up vs. isles goalies against b league goalies isles will win that match up. Lame-0 needs to get isles to play a full game and not blow leads with lazy penalties then isles have a chance… Lame-0 may have found his coaching gold without doing anything.

The Isles have been getting outshot badly and winning for years. Gil, do you have the number of prime chances the Isles gave up?
They didn't keep trying to build the lead in the 3rd and were better defensively. There aren't too many teams we can run and gun with.
It was a good win considering we are missing Pelech, Aho and Barzal. Yeah, the Panthers goalie usually sucks, but I don't think there was a cheap goal scored on him. Holmstrom keeps getting better. Lane should have him teach Wahlstrom how to make correct reads.
Bolduc made some good breakout passes.

Good morning team. So many emotions during the Panther game. Seeing Nelson's injury and losing him for approximately one month wasn't easy and with Barzy out I was somewhat pleased with the rest of the teams performance. Gil, I agree with you 1000%. Still giving up way too many shots and the Panthers made it exciting at the very end. Thank goodness Sorokin seemed on his game with the bombardment of shots he faced. I'll take the 2 points when ever our opponents want to give them to us. Thank you for the win. I want to feel we can hang with most teams. San Jose is next and I'm hoping we don't play down to the competition. I feel we're going to need every available player for this one and the rest of the games until players start to come back. Gil, you need to stop giving Pageau a pass .. he has been a phantom on the ice. I don’t think he’s even been the face off warrior he has been in the past. Something is off with him!
Gil, I’ve been pretty negative in the comments as of late with my faith on the Islanders. Should I continue? I do like how Holmstrom is playing this early on, fingers crossed that it continues. I just afraid to get my hopes up, and then watch the team get smoked by the 6–17 sharks. 😂 have a good one

the Isles again don't face a team's #1 goalkeeper and squeak by. I am starting to think that the better teams are not as good as I thought and the margin between the Isles and those teams, B's/Canes/Panthers not as great. But without better defense, fewer turnovers, and fewer penalties, this team's upside is likely the 7 or 8 seed. should Sorokin or Varley get injured, this team will be in deep trouble.
I have been telling you and saying that Gauthier should have been in the lineup from the beginning! The first line should be Nelson Gauthier and Barzal… Second line Horvat Engvall Holmstrom… Third line Cizikas Palmieri Fasching…fourth line…JG Clutter Martin. Also, I really like the way Reilly is playing… Bringing the puck to the opponents blue line…
