Torts is 100% right. League is soft
Bro really did the "Griddy" on ice.
You should do these weekly and date your shows. Good content.
This year has been a peach for game ties in the last 5 sec …. 😮😮😮😮 what a year for hockey
Sergachevs name still sounds like a Russian generals name
Echl reffing is about the same right now.
Absolutely love this channel
Nice salty tears touch about only naming the top 3 teams in the league 😂
Video request: Managing rookies. The managing of Leo Carlsson has been different compared to what you usually see with less games played and more focus on development through practice as I understand it. While Bedard and Fantilli play every game without fully grown bodies. I would like to see you break down the thought processes behind different strategies to develop prospects short and long term. I find the topic interesting as there seem to be more discussion on who to pick instead of how to make the picks you get succeed.
This has been the no hit league for a while. Watch a game from the 90s and a game today. The parity in checking is unmissable. Not to mention the contrast in crowd enthusiasm. The game used to have tension..
NOW they're complaining about the refs, and as a Rangers fan. It's been like this all year long. Refs doing all they can to kill our team and somehow they prevail through all the bs.
Torts benching Farabee is just him checking how Farabee will respond. If he takes it the right way, he's back on the ice and starts doing what his coach wants him to do.
If he doesn't.. He's in the doghouse for good.
Clean hit right in chest
I've been new to hockey as my friend wanted me to get into it. After 3 years i now noticed that the NHL decides who wins the cup. Why? Look at all the ref stuff. They get direction from Toronto telling them what to do. We see all the crazy calls and wonder what is going on and just like life, we sit back and gobble more up. Don't get me wrong i love hockey now and i will continue to watch it but the excitement and the love that people have for this game i don't think i can get. Not with how the ref stuff is going.
Tort’s is correct. The league has gotten soft and weakening it to unwatchable.
can we talk about the terrible call from the refs for taking the goal away from the devils when the puck obviously went over the red line? this was the Devils Vs Sharks.
Also…no one is talking about the guy that died in the minors like a month ago…and the murder charge..
Only thing consistent is the crap refereeing
Hughes really fucked up that whole play, you need to play 100% until the whistle.
Hathaway with a solid clean check playing until the whistle.
How do the Blackhawks get away with abandoning a player eligible for the assistance program
Only been a fan for 11 years. But every single year I hear people say that this years officiating is the worst ever. Hate to break it to you but it isn’t. They’re just consistently not great every year.
Emotions are high at the start of the season, you got teams that missed the playoffs trying to make it this year, teams with cup hopes, fans get antsy and anything that doesn’t go their way is met with vitriol. Couple that with short term memory and you get “this years officiating is the worst I’ve ever seen”
I don't see 40 and 50 year old Refs (and this includes Linesmen) in the NHL anymore… There used to be a lot. Are Refs getting worse? Even if I play the advocate and say, "No", there is NO DOUBT that I'm seeing a lot of 20's year old's in the positions; and I DON'T CARE WHO YOU ARE, if you're in your 20's trying to officiate an NHL game, then your experience IS SIMPLY NOT UP TO THE STANDARD of "The League". Period. You have not seen enough, and you have not learned enough, and you have not digested enough experience; period. What is it with The NHL going with all these infantile officials? Because, THAT IS ruining the game, whatever "quality" you want to assess their skill at being.
NHL refs have always been the worst. No consistency.
That's a pricey door man lol
Great video!!
As a Hawks fan, everything that happened with Perry, Bernard, and Kane just made for a very up and down week.
100% true kids who grew up in this style of play/officiating now mixing with men who came up in the era of big hitters and there like fuckin deer in the headlights.
What's your take on why Trevor Zegras is on IR with no injury listed.
Panthers are bunch of cheap shot artists!!
Cool weekly recap. I like it.
Bedard is so talented he just needs to keep his blinders on and focus on himself and he will be a goat
“An 11pm beer league game on a Monday night” 💀😆💀😆💀😆💀
NHL gonna lose a lot of fans when they finally instill their no hit policy. They want to do it and will use horrible referees to justify it. Soft
Slight criticism: Will you please start changing some of your generic titles to something more specific? Every week or so I see similar titles like
– Just got a even weirder
– This Is Changing The NHL As We Know It
– It Just Keeps Getting Worse
– What Did I Just Witness…
– This Shouldn’t Be Happening
These titles are too generic. At times I don't know if it's a video I already watched (YouTube is horrible and remembering this for my account) because these titles don't really allude to anything specific.
I get that you want an air of mystery to draw people towards clicking your thumbnail, but there are also people like me who start to get tired of vague video titles and then will NOT click on a video because we don't feel like sitting there for a few minutes just to get an idea of what the topic of the video might be.
Cool? Thank you.
Wait they called that boarding? Do, what?
Play until the whistle! Because your opponent is going to
In Canada there are 7 NHL teams. One has an approximate annual 100 million dollar revenue stream from the public taxpayer funded CBC. So the other teams get less than crumbs. Talk about wierd. Don't know how the U.S. based teams make their revenu other than what normal sports teams do. A lot of community and reliance on fans.
these recaps are great especially since im a new fan to the sport
D stars all day
Comment for the algorithm
Dallas Stars mentioned.
I definitely think at times players don't protect themselves from hits. It's something we have to work on and the balance is still being worked on. The NHL has to get safer and it can't really find the right balance until it swings wildly from side-to-side on this specific issue. The officiating of course does this no favors.
Dallas going from that painful game against the flames to an 8-1 win over the Bolts was not something I had on my bingo card.
I find it laughable that people think the players being checked are the problem in hockey. Onus is always on the one delivering the hit.
Fauci for president 2028….🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆
