That was beautiful. I was in Chicago a few weeks ago watching warm ups and a kid was standing in front of me wearing all Hedman stuff. Hedman saw him, and skated over and threw a puck over the glass and waved. I know players do that all the time, but it looked so genuine, like he loves doing that game in and game out. I couldn’t be happier to have him on our team. I hope he enjoys the day he has earned!

Fucking love our big Swede. Bolts couldn’t ask for a better Captain/alternate combo than Stammer and Heddy. Class acts all the way through and I’m excited to see their numbers hanging from the rafters one day.
