Hard to say where id put kane without seeing practice. First 20-40 mins 3rd line +pp + man over the boards. Bump up to line 2 when he goes bar down heart breaker celly

im a rangers fan, I also want detroit to do well, I think its good for hockey and the city of detroit/IL. I wanted kane, but i was scared that it would cause a chemistry issue. He did alright, but they took Mika from PP1 so kaner and breadman can play, and the rangers PP crashed at the worst time… first round since now both pps had a new make up made 0 sense, I think they were treating Kane like 2013 Kane, detroit needs to make him a solid locker room 3/4 line guy unless we see a huige difference. Im also salty that if you believed media, he lied about the status of his hip last year.
Big game. Buffalo is a fragile and injured team right now. Detroit lost both games in Buffalo last season and got outscored 6-14 in those games. In total they allowed Buffalo to score 24 non shootout goals on route to a 4-0-0 season series sweep (Detroit went 0-2-2 with the 2 home loses being in the shootout). Buffalo’s offense is not the same as it was last year. If Detroit loses this game and allows Buffalo to score 4 or more goals like last season with the inconsistencies and injuries Buffalo has I will view this as a bad head to head matchup for Detroit and wonder if/ when they will be able to beat Buffalo again.

After pre season I wanted Ras to get some top line LW minutes. Some size up front there, but he has struggled this year.
Wings have 2 top lines now with lots who can step up in case of injury. Deep this year!

Joking about Sprong on the second line is crazy to me. He absolutely could do it with all the additions this year he is impressing me the most. I hate that we only have him on a one year deal he will be gone for better opportunities next year.
