WC Jersey: NHl vs Kraken Store

I ordered two jerseys to try different sizes, and because the Kraken store was out of stock of one size, I ordered a 46 from the Kraken store and 44 from NHL. As you can see, the numbers and nameplate are smaller on the 44, but on the 44 from NHL the nameplate and numbers are sewn on. The Kraken store 46 is heat pressed. While I’d prefer the sewn numbers, I’m sticking with the 46 because it fits better and has the WC patch on the shoulder.

I ordered both on Black Friday and they just arrived today, if that helps folks waiting on their orders!

Thanks to everyone who helped with fit questions! These babies are definitely narrow in the chest, so if you’re a busty lady, size up for sure!

And here I am comfortably fitting in a youth XL lol. My 46 blank away jersey is basically a dress 😂

    Nice comparison, though!

It’s wild that the team store can sell authentic jerseys for the same price and they’re heat pressed, while the NHL shop gives you stitched.

You’d think it would be the other way around, and in any case it’s BS that the $300 product can have such nonexistent quality control.

There aren’t any left. I’m not sure how this helps at this point?

The kraken team store got a very limited amount of stitched authentic WC player jerseys. The rest will be heat pressed like the rest of their jerseys. This is the first time in 3 years that the Kraken team store has carried any stitched jerseys.

It’s possible that the differences are due to the size difference and not which outlet you got them from. I’m not sure what the cut off is but I think it might be 46 where anything lower than 46 they use slightly smaller numbers, names and even logos sometimes because the smaller jerseys get too crowded.
