That first period was rough. Second period they looked much better. Third period was dominant for the Kings. They outshoot Colorado 22-5. Beautiful goals from Trevor Moore and QB!

  2. I am once again offering amnesty to Quinton Byfield doubters.

Massive W for the boys tonight. QB, what a game! Kopi most assists ever for a King! Colorado are no slouches and it means that much more when we’re beating teams expected to make the second round at least if not the Conference Finals.

As someone who started watching hockey in the 2010-11 season, I think this is my favourite Kings team ever. I loved the Cup wins obviously but I think watching this team grow over the years and turn into this fun, exciting team is just so sick. I really hope they can grab another Cup win in the next few years or so, I just love this squad

  5. QB continues to win our hearts, him in the Kopi line is so much fun to watch

Kings took over in the 3rd period. Total domination. Great passing, amazing defense. So fun to watch!

QB so cute on this interview lmao, so close to the hat trick! fuckin slick 3rd period, feelin good af

I’ll admit that after the season opener and after Wednesday I was not feeling great about this one. First period was sloppy, but they got better and better as the game went on. The top line is still crazy, Kempe especially just does it all. Awesome to see QB find the front of the net and convert. 3rd period was just relentless pressure, and while the Avs may have been tired and not had all their players, it’s commendable to shut down a team as good as the Avs that hard.

    Hell yeah Kopi

    Hell yeah QB

    Hell yeah Talbot

Let’s go break a record in Ohio.

I’m just gunna come out and say it. Do we finally look 2012-2014 dominant? Are we that team that actually comes out in the third period? Obviously we aren’t being extra physical and grinding guys down to just dominate every third, but this looks like a team that actually fights for wins. Like this was an impressive win. Go kings go, I’m all in.

I’m forced to watch the Colorado feed as I’m in their region and their announcers are crying so hard right now.

Kings can never be counted out this season, always finding new and creative ways to produce offense. I’ve followed this team since I was a kid in the 90s and this is the most fun I’ve had watching them

  12. Having watched Byfield play a bunch of matches in Ontario the past few years, I can’t tell ya how nice it feels to see him doing so well in LA. He’s worked so hard for this.

Great game, priors confirmed. Kings Good.

    Start planning possible parades.

  14. Sirtopofhat

Kings kinda just picked there spots just pressed pressed and finally got an opening and never looked back. You love yo see it

It’s unbelievable how incredible this team has been with this schedule to start the campaign. What an outstanding victory. Battled all night and then just put it away. I had doubts tonight with the long break at home, it feels simply amazing tonight. You love to see it!

  16. rainyforest

The Crypt was rocking tonight. Everyone was going crazy for the Byfield hatty

  17. honestrade

Huge turnaround from the 1st period to the 3rd period. Moore’s goal was filthy.

  18. wifesboyfriend247

WE WANT TEN!! WE WANT TEN ! !!! NEVER FORGET KINGS FANS. Feeling good now…

  19. Cagekicker52

It’s crazy how the past year or two we would have taken that to OT and maybe just maybe got a win. This year we demand and deliver the win. The progression of the past two years to now has been incredible!

  20. johannesBrost1337

That Byfield Kempe group celly was a beaut. Those guys have bonded 🧃

  21. suzukisandy22

Colorado was exhausted after two and the Kings took advantage. Pressure from the start of the third through their power play. Possession time and shots and complete domination.

  22. Didn’t start watching til the third and I was surprised we were tied… but we looked HUNGRY at the start of the third! That Byfield goal was amazing! Perfect placement.

  23. Elucidator

I was at this game and I’m still levitating.

    – Kopi’s the new Kings assist record leader
    – My daughter’s first live hockey experience (<2 years old)
    – That dominant 3rd period
    – 4-1 Game against a likely cup contender (on home ice!)
    – Free suite level tickets and snagged some free street parking

    GKG!!!

  24. Split_InfinityDarlin

Team looks damn good. Just solid on all lines. Please everybody stay healthy!

I know we’ve all seen it the past decade but it still needs to be said: Kopitar really is one hell of a player. Guy is at what many would say is the tail-end of a great career and yet he hasn’t shown any sign of slowing down. To think he’s had the longevity he’s had playing a responsible 200ft game style is insane!

  25. sophophora

Just gonna throw out some love for Talbot tonight. The shot count would make it seem like he had a relatively easy night but dude made a number of massive stops. Things could’ve gotten out of hand in the first 2 periods without him showing up.

  26. drunkmunkee

    Bustfield couldn’t even get a hat trick. 🙄 ^/s

  27. Edmuresay

I lucked into seats just behind the glass for this one and while you miss a ton of perspective with those seats, one thing that was really apparent is the blend of size, skill, and speed on this team. Just an awesome night. GKG

  28. Cagekicker52

I forgot to add what a fucking filthy goal that was by Moore. Holy hell. Made everyone involved on the avs look like idiots lol.

  29. seemonkey

The Moore goal would not have been possible without Grundstrom robbing the Avs of the puck and then making a nice dish. He’s playing extremely well.
