Yeah sucks for Markstrom but great opportunity for both Vladar and Wolf.
Vladar gets the chance to showcase himself as a potential starter to not only the Flames but the rest of the league as well. And Wolf gets some much needed NHL experience as he looks to graduate from the AHL.

This is exactly why Conroy hasn’t traded vladar. Can you imagine throwing wolf to the wolves (I know very very bad pun. ) and having some other ECHL or AHL goalie backing him up? This is actually a perfect scenario for a wolf’s development.
