Matthew Kessel scored with 24 seconds left in overtime to give the Springfield Thunderbirds a 4-3 win over the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on Saturday night at the Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza. Peter Abbandonato tallied twice for the Penguins.
