It could be a groin problem. A moment against the Oilers at a 2 on 0 when and Pettersson cut infront of Nurse and studnicka scored and he sorta gave a sloo foot on Pettersson with his stick
Petey has a history of injuries, being medicore at times and such.
While his talent is amazing, when was the last time he dominated a game 5-on-5?
Miller is better and more accountable now that Rick is couch, so if Petey thinks he's getting $10+ plus, I say trade his butt!
What's wrong? He's not very good. He has flashes of greatness. But he's a flash in the pan.
what's wrong with him is that i don't think he is the centerpice/ cornerstone to hand us the lord stanley that's what's wrong
that missing element in him that we can't trust in him alone, but are in need of trying it by committee to try lift that illusive cup
or he may get traded in the future for assets, and we'd wait again for that true one' to arrive, that will lead us to the promised land

When he plays at his best, he is vancouver's best player, when he plays at his worst, he is still among the top four. If you don't know hockey, it might not be easy to see and understand.

He played great against the flames tonight, pretty much any goalscoring chance was created by Pettersson

Athletes have slumps. Miller hasn't looked great last 2 games. Petey past 6 games. But he looked good last night.
Our job as fans should be to support instead we only criticize.
Doesnt help that whenever hes on the ice he gets dog pilled immediately

Change the flex on his stick when he cannot shoot well. Change his skates obviously when he trips over all the time. Change the bloody tape he was using to hold the puck better. It is about time he should look good with a change of fortune, man!

hes made mistakes but i love how hes got 4 pts in his last 4 games and were all concerned. Hes also a +5 in those 4 games.
I'm going with the wrist. He's been losing the puck in weird ways lately. Also face-offs equate to the common wrist injuries no doubt. If you look closely at JT's pads, he's got extra wrist gaurds, likely for this reason. Pettersson will be back. His falling over is just always how he always is. lol.
Game against Calgary was OK. He was passing the puck way too much. It’s like he’s trying to set everyone up, not everyone setting him up.
Yup its concerning! Definitely not as dominant as he was. It could be other teams are just playing him harder. But he doesnt seem to shoot very much. Vs Calgary he chiseled the open net goal away from Zadorov because he said he touched it on the way. I thought that was a little cheap of him
Im not concerned with petey in terms of his play and his ability to look like a 120 point player. I am concerned that he looks like a passenger and not a primary driver of his line for long stretches throughout every season hes played in so far.
