  1. The Jets have a problem too, Paul Maurice is to stubborn to play any young guys who he knows that are better hockey players. example Nathan Beaulieu and Nate Thompson, neither of them are contributing to the team the way they should be. He has already ruined a bunch of prospects that could’ve been top 6 contributors
Nic Petan, Marko Dano and Joel Armia this needs to stop 🛑

  2. I think you have to look at the source I don't know anything about the the author and this is what I could find on him On blogger since December 2019. If I'm correct the more hits they generate the more advertising money they get. So I just wouldn't put much stock in it until it comes from a more established source. As a Wing's fan I don't think you can really fault Blashill for the Wing's lack of success. He took over an aging NHL team and a farm team that had mostly mediocre talent at best. Blashill and Cooper have very similar coaching styles the big difference is Cooper has had a team with a bunch of talent already there. That being said I know a lot of Wing's fans want him gone. I'm ok either way because Yzerman hasn't done anything so far to make me doubt him even a little bit.

  3. You hit the nail on the head with this one. No way Shev and Smith shouldn't be playing. Have a lot of good younger picks that will be pushing to get to the NHL. These to young guys need to play on the team and see what they can do. If your not going to play them leave them to play at Grand Rapids instead of moving them to the taxi squad and sitting.

  4. Wish we rebuild like Chicago's is doing it on the run and doing it the right way bringing in the kids and trading off the old vets.

  5. Babcock? Uh, no, that's not very accurate. Burns did it all the time, Keenan, on and on you can name coaches who played vets forever.

  6. I'm glad Evgeny was in the line-up. I don't like what Blashcock did against Dennis Cholowski during his hometown game against Vancouver and the Dennis Cholowski bobblehead night game as well.

  7. Well obviously Yzerman is letting him do pretty much whatever, so I think we have bigger problems. And E. Svechnikov had an assist last night.

  8. The moment i heard Blash speak I thought to myself, is this a Babcock clone?
Hopefully hes gone before Mo and Raymond are in the lineup

  9. I would compare more to a scotty bowman type thing as opposed to Mike Babcock. When you look at Steve Yzerman, he learned from bowman more than Babcock, and bowman was always not disclosing to media lineup decisions. It really does look like they're over the hump with playing the veterans over the young guys. I do think they want to try and play some of the vets to try and shop them at the deadline, so that could be why we might see some young guys sit every few games

  10. And Dylan Larkin himself has told Evgeny that if it takes him being hurt to give svech the opportunity, then he's glad he's hurt to let svech show the team he belongs here.

  11. Blashill just did it again- Evgeny scores 4 points in 4 games and he gets sent down the day his brothers team is back in town= this is Babcock mean!
