What a difference a real Coach makes!
Quick is a godsend.
Great win over a really tough team.
Okay, I know it's early, but this team keeps finding ways to impress me. The coaches are doing really well and the players have obviously bought into the system and are clearly on the same page. They've gotten great team D, excellent goaltending, hustle on the forecheck/backcheck, great pp/pk, a sublime work ethic and when they hit a bump in the road, they are able to respond quickly and minimize the damage.
Only 19 games in, but it's a pleasure to watch; and it'll be a pleasure to watch the team grow closer and more cohesive as the season progresses.

Even though we all like Igor & know that he's our Goaltender of The Future, more than likely, but, this year, without a doubt, Jonathan Quick is, so far, The Better Of The Two. Hopefully, Igor will bounce back soon & that will likely make them near unstoppable.
There's a different feel about this Rangers team. I think Laviolette has made a big difference. They're doing the little things that they haven't done in the recent past. They're skating and are very aggressive, the other team doesn't have alot of time to think. Pressure, pressure, pressure. They're playing with alot of confidence. The guys Drury brought in are doing a great job.

Drinking game: Have a shot everytime the host says "again", hehe (I'm just busting balls, you're doing a great job with those reviews). I must say, I was not a fan of Laviolette hire, but boy is he proving me wrong so far. The question now is what do we do at the deadline, do we stay put and not mess with what we have going? Or do we tinker? Drury tinkered last season and it backfired, so he may be hesitant to do so again this season. I know it is very early and the trade deadline is far off, but we have to start thinking about making this team ready for the playoff push. Well, it's been fun so far this season, I'm proud of my team, LGR!!!

When you have Pitlik, Bonino and Vesey scoring against a top team you know you’re doing something right. 4th line is going to be a major factor if we’re going deep into the playoffs. If they can produce like this, we’re a lock for the cup.

I would move chytil over to wing and pair him the Mika and krieds. Make wheeler a healthy scratch and bring him back every 3rd or 4th game
