  1. No other choice? Trudeau says hello. He must be pissed. Norlinder is a bit older and more experienced but has not played better than Trudeau or any of the defenseman in Laval. I hope he is up to watch and learn and not to play.

  2. Gally is about the only Hab that is willing to pay the price in front of the oposition net to provide a screen & through goalies off their game
Maybe this will help Caufield to start scoring again as the league seams to have him figured out
Suzuki can play with most anybody , but no size on the first line , hope I,m wrong but cain,t see it working at least not in the long run
Maybe Anderson instead of Caufeild but againI hope it works out

  3. I see a lot of people shitting on the team for putting Gallagher on the 1st line. I don't get it myself. I don't have an issue with it.

My only question is, if you are going to break up the Monahan line by putting Gally up with Suzuki, why not go full monty on that line and move Monahan up with Caufield and Slaf?

  4. Cole, Suzuki and Gally together on the first line? They are going to have to play against the opposing team's top line. The size and checking will be non-existent. Maybe Martin St. Louis is aiming for speed from his 1st line. I'm glad that he is changing things up. To find some chemistry from his top line.

  5. habs dont want to win because our big brass thinks there smarter then the other nhl brass… we think we r going to draft our way to the top ? fools , straight dam fools !!!! its causing habs fans not to watch games… true long time habs fans are starting not to watch!!!!!

  6. Beck had a hat trick Hutson had a hat trick, Mesar has a hat trick, Roy yes has a hat trick. Slafkovsky is looking better, future is bright. I think WWE are looking at a top 7 draft pick, obviously I still want to see interesting games until trade deadline when we unload everything except Monahan unless we can't refuse the offer

  7. Now let me premise what I am about to say with…Hughes can quickly change the narrative of how this rebuild is going with a single substantial trade and make anyone not on the Habs bandwagon, switch back to cheering for this mgmt group super quick. Ok, I'm confused with what MSL is trying to accomplish. I like the reuniting of Suzuki-Caufield after a short breakup which I think both players needed, and I kinda understand why u want a puck retrieval/net disturber player like Gally on that line…but I don't see this line succeeding…way too small, Gally has been taking too many unnecessary penalties, and he is not the player who will create time&space which Nick-Cole need to be successful. I am confused as to why Norlinder was called up…who had a good pre-season camp but has been struggling a lot since he's been in Laval showing zero offensively and mediocre defensively. Why not Dman Trudeau?…who has played better than Norlinder in Laval and a more stable, physical, defensive presence which the Habs need. And I'm a little surprised that no media outlet has questioned the Habs organization more about the handling of RHP who initially looked to injure himself in one game, then played the next game, only to injure himself more seriously and placed on IR. I thought Hughes revamped the medical staff to avoid these kind of injuries? I realize I'm being pretty negative but watching this team compared to last year, and seeing very little progression as a team (some individual positive flashes here and there), is very frustrating as a Hab fan.

  8. I like Gallagher. I really do. But if the Habs are playing him on the first line, it shows just how much they are struggling..
