  1. Radio turned its back on the sport? It’s a niche sport, so you need to attract the niche. It’s unrealistic to expect Canadian level of engagement with a sport that is as low-scoring as hockey. If hockey is smart they will embrace soccer because the two are similar, and soccer could lift hockey’s status way up in the next decades. Hockey must be introduced to Hispanics this century.

  2. I’m about to do 4 road games coming up in the new year and I’m looking forward to it. They’re competitive and hard to play against and that’s all I could ask. Go Flyers!! See you in Edmonton, Winnipeg,Toronto and Montreal.

  3. The Flyers should be embarrassed by thier broadcast partner 97.5 coverage of the team.
Never understood the decision to strike a deal with a station that obviously doesn't give a rats ass about the team.
97.5 is a sinking ship anyway and a format change is definitely in the future.

  4. Jason, congrats on the 1000th episode! What a milestone. I wanted to confirm, last week or so, you mentioned Carter Hart uses the Skate-on-post method while in the crease. Does he also use the RVH or is it strictly skate-on-post. My son is a goalie and reps the 79, his question not mine! Love the podcast!! It’s become a ritual every morning!

  5. Flyers play this year is a lot of fun to watch. Go Flyers and congrats on over 1000 episodes. It has been reported that York has a broken foot and will be out for awhile. Is this correct?

  6. Congrats on 1000 and keep it up! Here is a question for you, not sure if you have taken any from youtube. (if you do, feel free to refer to me as B instead of my actual youtube name, lol)

Something I am not trying to look too far ahead to, but that is exciting – Do you expect to see Cutter Gauthier up once his college season ends similar to Brink last year, and where do you see him slotting into the current lineup? Who would you be most excited to see him play on a line with?
