The Olympic games should only have amateur athletes for every event.
They can get participation ribbons and take them home to their mommies. The latest NHL go along to get along innovation.
the Czechs, Slovaks, Swiss, and Germans should have a team in the world cup. russia should be banned and russians should be banned from the NHL*
Panarin can stay.
Discussion protocol?
What about Buffalo's blockbuster trade? Bwahaha!
if high-sticking is considered such a bad thing, why don't they fine every player who gets a penalty for it? kinda seems stupid to me.
I watched the whole video to see you notice you wrote "discussion protocol" but nope. Discussion protocol.
Between the new owner, new GM and Martin's arrival it feels like DJ Smith is on borrowed time and the Sens are firing him in slow motion.
The Youppi Dilemma
Finally, the Sens are trying to address their Achilles heel: defense zone coverage.
Discussion protocol? Is that SM training to avoid upsetting people?
😀
Sens fan here! Having Martin here is a great move for a team with a struggling defensive structure. We need hard line tactics and Jacques Martin is fantastic at this! Hopefully we'll see a major improvement in the blue line
GO SENS GO!
I'd rather the nhl delete the all star game and just expand the skills competition.
Shannon, that "give them maple leaf medal" in reference to the 4th team in the 4-team tournament was savage! 😀
This 4 team world cup is useless! Get it together NHL! This is truly pathetic!
For 2025 how about this? Given they don't want to go above 4 teams for this limited tournament, why not go less? Anybody remember Summit Series '72? Canada vs USA baby, best three out of five or whatever number they think is right. These two teams would absolutely knock the snot out of each other. Games in the USA and Canada, it would be incredible. Hmm…nah, never happen.
Russia 🇷🇺 isn't playing cuz of the war un Ukraine
I think they should have a version of skills competitions in World Cup or Olympics
Hey Shannon, I wish I could give you more than one thumbs up for "discussion protocol" lol. It happens. Keep up the great work!
About Youppi, given human nature (unfortunately) such jealousy over non-paid pictures might lead to the NHL's first case of Mascocide. ;-)>
The sooner Martin takes over the better, the Sens are a lot better team than thier record shows, and Smith is the reason.
Actually its youpp! Not youppi
I feel like it would be a good idea to have these world cups games during training camp/ preseason and give the players a option to take a week break after the whole tournament is done
Should do World Cup every two or three years instead of Olympics.
Gawy USA bet an would have it easier for team USA to have a betta chance at winning. That way it’s easier.
If the NHL really wants to do an in season tournament, they should follow the NBA's example where every team in the league is involved in a World Cup soccer style tournament where the winning team gets $5 million & the group stage games count in the regular season standings to avoid taking time off during the season for it. There is the right amount of teams (32) currently in the league to do this & it would make ordinary regular season games much more exciting.
As a baseball fan, I'm just happy Youppi found life after the Expos.
I just want to see a full Hughes and Tkachuk line in the Olympics
What would this mean for the IIHF World Championships in the late spring?
