That brutal hit/fall of Kylingtons Feb 26, 2022 vs the Wild

I was watching a YouTube compilation video of hockey hits, this was in it. Who the fuck approved him playing 17:19 minutes 3 days later?

I personally would wonder if this has something to do with Kylingtons current status. Possible ongoing concusion problems, or as widely speculated anxiety. Which could be possibly caused by this hit/injury.

Do the flames have a problem allowing injured players to play to soon? I’m thinking of Monahan in particular but also Tanev has to have come back to soon a few times.

The Monahan situation really bit them in the ass, and ended in them trading him away along with a first round pick for nothing.

I am all for hits and fights in hockey I think they make the game as exciting and fun as it is, but letting guys play injured seems like a bad recipe.

The concerning thing for me here is the players were more concerned about revenge than making sure their teammate was ok.

Forgot how bad that was, and really not Hartmans fault either.

Side note – Cassie AND Singh? God help us all

Jesus watching his head in the slow-motion replay is damn scary.

I was at that game on the opposite side of the rink in the 200s and that thud was LOUD, even up there. If I remember correctly he missed a game or two and then said he was good to go

I remember that play like it just happened. Such a scary moment, couldn’t believe he was seemingly fine after that.
