“Mr. St-Louis do you think it would be easier or harder to play hockey with 4 legs, similar to that of a centaur?”

Dumbass question. Go back to reporting school

Imagine asking that question to a Stanley Cup champion, 6x All Star, 2x Art Ross, 3x Lady Byng, and Lester B. Pearson/Ted Lindsay award winner.
Not to mention a member of the HHOF.

To think they’re getting paid to ask that kind of question lol

you don’t ask a small nhl player, especially a hall of famer, a question like that. you just don’t.

And reporters wonder why coaches and player sometimes don’t like them

All time stupid question there but that’s what sports “journalism” is now

I also wondered what my life would be if I had the size of Giannis Antetokounmpo and not being able to find clothes my size, not being able to go to the toilet in a plane, probably have extreme back problems in my late 30’s, always having to dodge doors-top and scaring all possible dates under 6’00 is all the reasons I’m happy being 5’08’’

Didn’t need that size. MSL’s size was his strength.

I dont think it is that dumb of a question. the context is not ideal to ask it but Theo Fleury addressed his size and compete mindset on the Nilan podcast and it was quite insightful especially when I watch what idont like about caufields play or what I found made Gallagher successful. Some questions are meant to lead the person responding on a tangent and it does not always work, some questions are more direct and are just about guaranteed to get the typical quote.

Hopefully that’s all he said.
Anything more would just encourage more stupid questions.

Stupid question, but small players can be more shifty with better puck control. It’s not like being small was a pure liability.
just_matt85
Clearly hasn’t seen Quadzilla play. What a bozo question.
