I’ve created a Google sheet of Top Prospects in this upcoming draft 2024.
I’ve also listed prospects that are available to Calgary at 8th overall or in the top 10 (assuming the draft started today (DEC 7, 2023) and no lottery movement in the draft):
-Michael Bransegg-Nygard (RW)
-Berkly Cratton (F)
-Igor Chernyshov (LW)
-Sam Dickinson (D)
-Konsta Helenius (C/RW)
-Adam Jiricek (D)
-Aron Kiviharju (D)
-Cayden Lindstrom (F)
-Zayn Parekh (D)
-Ryder Ritchie (F)
-Anton Silayev (D)
Please comment down below which prospects you would pick from this list for the Calgary Flames and your thoughts on the Google Sheet.
I might consider updating the list/Google sheet at certain points if the season (the halfway (41 games) season, 3/4 season (61-62 games) and after the draft lottery.

Helenius could be intriguing, been a while since we had a Finnish forward. I don’t think he will fall that much though (assuming we will pick 16th)
Idk enough about the players, but I like the abundance of defensmen available, considering we’re likely moving on from about half our D-core.
Flames need everything but goaltending so, BPA as always.
That being said, a potentially elite defencemen or centre would be the goal.
Would be nice if the Flames could get some good luck for once and win the lottery. That’s probably the only way they’d ever get a top 2 pick
