There clearly is a problem with Husso. Go ahead and say that a lot of the goals were because of the defense from the skaters in front of him but I surely remember from last season he was picking his teammates up left and right when it was a 1 on 0 or 2 on 0.

The Red Wings are such a talented team with a great group of guys and I have no doubt that they’re capable of making the playoffs. Also, everyone has bad games, but what the actual hell was that?!?! You’re up 4-0 in like 2 minutes, then u somehow give away 2 SH goals on the same PP, and then the defense just completely crumbles. I think half our team had clear tape on their blades and the other half were laced with sleeping pills because they either blew a tire and gave up a breakaway or someone was just left wide open while the guy responsible is puck watching. The sharks are not a good team, how do we expect to do damage in the playoffs playing like this. Again, it’s just one game and bad games happen, but this was just horrific to watch. Keep your heads up Wings.

The Wings really blew it this time. Larkin has no excuse for the media either. Reporters told him about these big goal leads, and what does Larkin say? That they won. Wings need to show a little more humility and a little less hot dogging. They lost because they played like amateurs and don't deserve those million dollar salaries for the embarrassment I just saw tonight. How can you blow a 3-4 goal lead, late in the 2nd period? Husso and Reiner need to go. Bring up Cosa. Cosa and Lyon can alternate and see how that goes. Edvinsson and Pelikka should come up and take your pick on putting 2 of the current defensemen in the minors or on waivers. This game was sickening and naucious. Any more of these blowhard losses and Kane will regret signing with the Wings.

This is unacceptable. The Red Wings defense was embarrassing. There needs to start being consequences for games like this. Start benching defensemen, call up some of our hungry prospects from the minors.
I haven’t seen a turnaround like that since Reggie Dunlop unleashed the Hanson Brothers. I’m a lifelong Kings fan but that was a great character win for SJ.
