Of course when mcdavid is getting 2-5 points a night it’s kinda hard to lose
But the problems are still there and will show up again
Since they’re my 2nd favorite team it’s maddening to see mcdavid’s prime get wasted in this manner
The Hurricanes were playing really bad last night
Carolina was shell shocked after the first couple goals and could not recover. Insulting that they started their backup against us but was good they paid for it
Good again…til they play the Canucks again…
25+ teams are still playoff contenders right now, Edmonton should be in that group.
Theyll need more depth to get far.
As soon as their defense and goalie showed up they started to dominate.
Hyman's obviously not regretting moving away from the Maple Leafs.

Win a few games and all of a sudden they’re good? Let’s not celebrate too early, they are still 10/12 atm. I think if they start doing well, it’s still too little too late imo, unless they pull off a massive win streak, but I doubt it.
They've started to come together defensively.
Let's also not forget that there were some top players definitely playing through injuries.
Set plays are getting the bugs shaken out.
My favorite is if McDavid wins the Ozone faceoff, he turns on the jets comes around the net full speed and picks up the puck and usually dishes it to Ekholm.
I've been a fan since '78 and I think the "Boys on the Bus" are back.
