Cant do warmups without a helmet but quick is expected to use his bare hand. The nhl is the slowest growing of all the big sports because of all the grey areas its hard to gain new fans interest when everything has to be explained in depth
NHL teaching kids safety doesn't matter. Love it. Reminds me of when Plante started wearing a mask. Goalies have to just leave the net or dislodge it and take the penalty.
This is the problem with NHL that they control who will win now by calling the colonies or not look at the example of Florida and how they took out the top teams Boston Toronto Carolina the referees turn a blind eye yet in the Stanley Cup Playoffs they started calling out Florida's penalties
