Who's at fault for this goal: Bo Horvat or Matt Barzal? Or do you not care haha.
The goal is JT Millers fault
Nice break down Clay!
Barzal fault. Don't need 2 guys on Miller. Especially when Hughes was in front of him initially. Horvat was shadowing Boeser.
I think Hughes speed threw Islanders off
Hughes' goal is too fancy, I'm in love ^^
It's your fault…… that you suddenly think something like that or rather say something like that.
You can say even more stupidly… that Horwat did this, especially for our team. so stupid.
What a great breakdown !
My jaw dropped when I watched it last night 😂
Cool analysis, Clay!👌
Hughes anticipated this brilliant pass from Miller – brilliant move with a great finish! 💪
…hope for that play next time at 5 on 5…
Hughes saw them both drift towards Miller and called for it, game over
Enjoyed this analysis. One other thing that I noticed on Quinn's shot was… just before he shoots, he moves the puck ever so slightly to his right, creating a better angle against Sorokin's aggressive play. I wonder if that last-sec move was also part of the reason why Sorokin looked like he froze there.
Great breakdown of a goal that'll become legendary in highlight reels for years when folks discuss Quinn Hughes' stellar career
Nice breakdown of the… breakdown.
As good as Miller, Hughes, Petterssen, and Boeser are, they are so much better together. As the familiarity of playing together for five-six years will do that.
The entire line on the ice was guilty of puck watching (4:39 is a great freeze frame)….simple as that. Sure Bo missed his man & Barzal committed to much on Miller, Pelech was too slow to realize Hughes was behind him. It was a comedy of errors on that play. Give credit to Miller to draw Barzal to him & locating Hughes that quick. Those are plays players make when they have confidence & the Canucks are oozing confidence.
i love analyses like this, and am hoping for more of them, from Canuck Clay, and from the youtube canucks community generally.
My fav video from you so far 😀
