For you idiots saying why Perron (57 in red) went after Zub (2 in white) in retaliation, and saying “Perron went after the wrong guy…” as you watched the replay, Zub literally fell on top of an already knocked out cold body of Larkin and Perron had to retaliate to stick up for a fallen teammate. So Perron did go after the right guy in retaliation. So are Detroit fans worried of Perron getting suspended after the High Hit to Zub? Absolutely Not, but was he the right guy to retaliate on? Yes. Mathieu Joseph should have gotten 5 and game or match penalty and yet the NHL decided to protect him (Joseph) giving him a 2 minute minor for this disgraceful and dirty play and not protecting the injured and innocent. Rumor has it that the NHL probably put a bounty on the head of Larkin to anyone who KO’d him and took him out of the game. The Amount? The max price provided in the NHL CBA! What a sick thing for Gary Bettman and the Ottawa Senators to pull off!
