Who cares what the vegas players say. They said we were an AHL team before the series. Tatar is a soft player and not for this style hockey. Remove Staal for TT, not the brightest idea

I'm all for a Tatar redemption arc, but only if another guy gets hurt or we lose a few games, don't mess with a winning formula. The only player I could see being taken out would be Lehkonen, but then you're breaking the first line who's been insane at defending against the other teams' first line

Johnny, you make a lot of sense normally. I am all for bringing Tatar in, you're right he's a secret weapon. Staal cannot come out unless Evans comes in. Crushing the chemistry of multiple lines and playing players out of position will not be an upgrade. The threat of Tatar coming in bolstering chemistry will have to do until there is an injury or poor performance.
Don't forget Vegas also got a gift wrapped goal from Stall. So that sort of makes things even in that department. If I were to make any changes Stall comes out and Tatar goes in. ( GO HABS GO)
Nope Tatar doesn’t deserve to be in there, he had a shitty attitude and he’s not producing. He’s already somewhere else and he got in a dispute with Ducharme, so no chance of seeing him. Getting Lekhonen out would be awful, he’s way more reliable in defense than Tatar and Staal made a mistake ok, but he also has great chemistry with Perry and Armia and they’re doing big work so why change the roster?
Think about this, everyone was lauding that this was a goaltending duel. I'm sorry but Fleury is over rated and has underperformed. We barely have put pucks on net and we still scored. As for Tatar, no because you don't want to ruin line chemistry when things are working already. One thing that is very important in hockey is chemistry and having two cup winners Staal and Perry on the same line is very important. You need their veteran presence. I wouldn't mess with anything. All we have to do is come out like in game 1 1st ten minutes, and we will be fine. Put a lot of rubber on net.
Keep Tatar healthy. Game 4 is going to be a battle. Parry won't be 100% but he's going to play Aggressive. I still would like to see Tatar, Stall and Parry on a line.

Vegas having a shot advantage of 40 something to even 50 something shots to 27 shots or something like and losing 2-1 in OT with fleury letting in a soft goal in OT is nothing new.

Fresh legs always seem to favor Mtl for some reason. With the pressure of playing for Mtl, player coming back from a reset always come back strong. I am sure that if Tatar comes back he will be extremely motivated.
Also, Gallager seems way less effective in the playoffs. I think he is more effective in the regular season, because everybody is grinding as hard as he is now in the playoffs.

Plus.. If the referees were not that bad last game….who knows. Also we are 100% Pk efficiency. Pacio,marchessaut,stone got no goals so far and i don't think Tatar is good enought defensively to enter the line up at this point even if he score a goal. If he enter the line up it's because of an injury. I'll add that he's problably gonna be traded or picked by seatle after the season. Go habs go ! Without tatar

He's not the goaler, but as bad. I would however not remove him.. You DO NOT change what's working. Those playoffs are winnable with sheer willpower, you do not want to affect your players mindset.
You stick with what has got you this far, don`t mess with the chemistry, so no for Tatar, as for a Fleury gift… Staal gave Vegas a gift, so it evens out.
Absolutely Tatar deserve a spot way before Staal.
Staal has been great for the first few games against toronto but right now Vegas is just way too fast for the pace he’s playing he’s loosing every battles for the puck and he’s just being outskated every shift he’s on the ice. I believe Tatar would perform much better especially against is former team, that would get him fired up.

I really believe that there is a problem with Thomas Tatar and the team. Maybe he is not buying the on for all movement. In the beginning of the season let’s not forget Claude julien benched him. And Now Ducharme. As soon as he was replaced in the series against Toronto the team became United. It’s like the plague was removed.
If you think of it both of Vegas goals was mistake … so stop it with luck. Luck can score a goal, maybe win a game, but luck cant win 10 games in playoff hockey. Ask any nhl players who make it to semi final in history if luck have anything to do.

You wanna know what the biggest mistake in game 4 is? Replacing Mark Andre Fleury of Lehnor.. Montreal will go up 3 games to 1 by the end of the night
The fact that MTL has Tomas Tatar and Jake Evans sitting out is got every player in the lineup playing that much harder knowing those two are ready to replace an injured player or anyone in the lineup not giving 100% or producing, if it isn`t broke do not mess with it, nice to know you have two capable forwards waiting to step in if needed though, Cheers GO HABS
