Before Alexis Lafreniere’s game winner, the New York Rangers and Calgary Flames played a tough game that included two Jacob Trouba hits and fights, along with a few scuffles in front of the net and a power play goal from NY from dumb penalties by the Flames. Arguably one of the better wins of this season, the Rangers bit back with toughness and grit against the Calgary Flames. Along with 2 goals each from Filip Chytil and Mika Zibanejad, Alexis Lafreniere stormed down the ice and banked home the rebound off the Zibanejad shot to win it in OT. One of the best games I’ve ever been to in person.

These NYR announcers are pretty good – I've listened to these guys a few times now and they get the game. The refs did a great job with this game too. They should be reffing our Leaf games…

When in the hell did every solid clean hit have to be answered for… total bullshit. I think it kind of started with the Bruins teams back in 2008-2012 and their whole team tough crap!
