Tanking is garbage. It puts your young players in a losing culture. Look at the Oilers. The Knights developed their team from a freaking expansion draft.
If you get first round picks you need to be able to hit on them. You can build a team around players drafted in the second round and lower.
It also isn't even guaranteed that you even get a top 3 pick.
Different sport but look at the other team in this city that tanked. Embiid and Simmons started their careers in a losing culture and guess what? They are losers.
Flyers just need to keep up the good work with drafting and developing the talent they already have.
Let's hope we don't burn out too soon before the end of the season. We have some D work to do, but we are playing better than we have in the last few years. The last parade I saw was in 75. Looking to actually see another before I pass from these mortal grounds. Go Flyers.
