  1. Think it was a touch early but the ref had to make a deciision, Conlan was getting rocked constantly throughout the fight and wasgetting caught flush. The ref probably saw a big KO coming, think we all ddi, and think he saved Conlan from himself

  2. Conlan reminds me of Khan. Unfortunately, he has a weak chin. Then when hurt he tries to fight fire with fire.

  3. Conlon can do all the trainning he needs but he cant put muscle on his chin he hasnt got it 2 be a world champ n he should pack boxing in n get a job no 1 will pay 2 watch his efforts

  4. I dont know why that was a huge shock. Conlan hasnt looked right since his first knockout. His punch resistance just seems gone. And not every great amateur becomes a great pro. I hate all the pressure thats put on these young guys when they turn pro, being spoke of being unbeatable etc, then risking their lives by constantly getting put in knockout after knockout when they should hang back and regroup. I for one hope Conlan has a LONG layoff, or retires. He cant afford too many more stoppage losses like this.

  5. Whats wrong with gill finishing job 🤦🏻‍♂️. No power for him. Conlan a stepping stone fighter & he couldn’t knock him out

  6. Conlon does seem to have lost momentum. It's been a long road for him since turning pro. He will always be a legend but boxing is an unforgiving sport.

  7. Been following Gill since 2018, it wasn't a shock for me 😅 just wish I had money on it 💰 I met Michael at the Frampton/Donaire fight a few years back, a gentleman. His trash talk before fights recently and not being able to back it up is hard to watch.

  8. He doesn't really have any power either and sits in the pocket and trades. He can box Oth or southpaw he needs to keep he's opponents guessing and box them not try brawl them. Doesn't seem right after that first loss…Hopefully he can recover, take some time out get some easier oppo then rebuild for one last push at a world title.

  9. Barry Jones scorecard almost as bad as Costello commentary. Let’s not even mention Andy Lee commentating on “Katie” or Bellew on “Anthony”.

  10. Two of the foremost qualities a boxer needs to become a top professional is punching power & punch resistance. Conlan has neither. It’s okay dancing around in the amateurs for 9 minute bouts with a head guard & 18 ounce pillows for gloves. But to be a world Champion in the pros is a totally different ball game. Conlan tried his best but obviously doesn’t have what it takes.

  11. Conlan is a beautiful boxer and you can see how his skills were so successful as an amateur. But in the pros you simply cannot have glaring weaknesses and rise to the top.

  13. Bad refereeing. How was that a stoppage? Are you telling me that this was worse than the Tyson Fury getting knocked down in the first Deontay Wilder fight? There's no consistency.

  14. Stoppage too early and he clearly was not happy w the stoppage and I think he would've bounced back from whatever gill did to him he seemed not to have much for Conlan. He wasn't overwhelming him at the stoppage so much that it should've been stopped. At least 30 sec longer the red shouldve given Conlan. What a shame he was bouncing back from the knockdown not getting beaten up every round
