I think the Habs are displaying Struble for the league. I doubt Xhekaj will be the odd man out.
I also think that the Habs management figure Arber can refine his game more playing big minutes in the AHL. Let’s be honest here, he had played less than 170 OHL games before making the jump to the NHL.
If you teach Xhekaj to block shots with proficiency, become a PK specialists, positioning, consistency and maybe how to pick his spots better when using his natural aggressive nature.
He skates great for a big guy, and has the size to be a play off menace in front of the net.
We’re not winning the Cup this year. Relax and let Arber get some real minutes with one on one development coaching and training to refine his unicorn status.
Arber Xhekaj is staying in Montreal for a long time.

Arber has lots of potential to build on playing more significant minutes. He was probably a little shocked to be sent down but he will grow from it. Its normal development for a player who wasn't even drafted.
I'm commenting before the video… I just hope people look at kotkaniemi and realize it might take slafzilla a couple of years before we start seeing what kind of player he will be…

Dude the Han’s suck and yes I’m a huge fan. Slag has 1-2 goals and you guys brag about how great he is. So far he’s been a bust. The Han’s can’t score and until they get offensive talent they will keep spinning their wheels in the mud. The problem is, Han’s can’t draft. They are allergic to talent
