Fantasy Run 2016 – 5K, 10K and Half Marathon in Gardner Village, West Jordan, Utah.
The race was really fun and the race competition is staggered based on the distance ran. I.e. The half is the most competitive, with the 5K having the least competition.
There was a lot of confusion with the medals, T-shirts and race timings. We paid for a race, medal and t-shirt before an alleged change in the pricing structure (The change allowed you to pay for just the race, with the medal and t-shirt being an extra fee). So somehow we ended up with a ‘no medal’ and ‘no t-shirt’ stickers on our race numbers. When I crossed the line to win the 5K, the lady looked at my race number, said “hmm no medal, ok then”. My timing chip also didn’t register, so all in all, it was a bit of a disaster LOL!
