If he's still producing but placed on waivers, it probably means he's back on the sauce. Maybe not, but regardless, he's had a history of locker room issues and problems with authority (management) going back to Washington. I assumed his substance abuse was the driver behind those issues, but maybe he just has a bad attitude either way. I found it curious that Yzerman still had no intention of working with the guy even after he went through rehab. He must've really done something to burn that bridge, and we can probably assume he's burning another in St Louis

LOL…Yzerman would never even consider it because there was a reason he let him go in the first place. He is not stupid. He built a winner in Tampa and he will build an even better one here. I will continue to trust the Yzerplan even when there are a lot of doubters. We actually have a pretty solid team right now if everyone was healthy and in the lineup. The losses of Larkin, Compher, Kostin, and Perron hurt us in hopefully only the short term. The rest of the team is playing well but they have to cut down on the penalty box suite because the power play goals against them lately have been piling up and that is not a good formula for winning games.
