Oilers are looking for a 1a or 1b to swap for Campbell, they should consider trying to get Monty up in Montreal.. it would cost a hell of a lot but he's a legit starter caliber goalie on a 3 year/ 3 mil contract at 27 years old. retaining 2 mil of campbell's contract and offering up a first/second and some prospects might get the job done.
Skinner is not good either. The team has made his life super easy these last 6 wins he had. Very low scoring chances. The issue with Skinner is same as Campbell, when the team are not 100% they both SUCK! These few wins has everyone singing his praises but who deserves those praises? The d core and forwards that scored early and often and took the opponents out of the games. Vegas were flat, Caines are struggling and sucked. They truly have'nt had a challenge. Picard had NJ who were the best challenge of the 7 game winning streak. 100% Skinner will blow a few games soon as puck luck will run out and the team will have mediorce games as normal .
Mitch Marner's dad has a cold and dark aura to him. Similar to Ichiro's old man. These guys are successful at pushing their kids past pain thresholds and into stardom, but they aren't necessarily good men or fathers.

Congratulations John Tavares on your 1,000th Point. It's sad that Islanders Fans haven't forgiven him. It happens with Free Agents. I'm sure that he was A Proud Islander. But, I do understand that Isles Fans had felt Sucker Punched when he didn't accept the same (I'm of the recollection that he signed with Toronto for The Same) $ The Islanders were going to give him. But, I'd think that so much time has gone by for The Fans to forgive

Re: hockey dads: I played minor & high school hockey in NS as a kid…my dad was a well respected Jr A coach in the maritimes in the mid 60s-early 80s. He never came to one of my high-school games!!! Back in those days parents simply didn't spend their time at their kid's sporting events like they do today. I never gave it a 2nd thought!!! Plus…he never tried to "give coaching advice" to my high school coach. He stayed out of it and while I always knew he was proud of my accomplishments I never expected him to be at my games. He was busy coaching and working.
