Players go through slumps look a boeser. He just needs time to adjust. Also having a player of his skill in the bottom 6 will probably yield good results
for cap space, send Kuzmencko to team needing scoring, for prospect /.pick? Seattle? Washington? Pittsburgh? St Louis? Calgary? San Jose?

This is purely a business move because you can get a great return on Kuzy if you trade him to a contender with salary retained for only 2 years, and his longevity under Rick Tocchet's system is questionable right now. Also, that short-term contract is enticing for teams who want a rental without the financial baggage which may come with it. In theory, we're giving up our top-9 winger, but if we can actually sign someone in free agency to fill that void, this hypothetical trade could easily be a big win for Vancouver.
Habs could be a could fit with that lackluster offence considering they can take the full contract.
Sorry Cuzz but Lafferty has taken your spot, and he brings a little more sandpaper with him.
He could be a 1B or 2A player on most teams.
He might be having a down year (a la Boeser last year).
So, I wouldn't give up on him yet, unless there is a deal they can't refuse.

Wahlstrom Cal and Martin for kuzmenko. I doubt all 3 go to the nucks, Wally definitely but Martin and cal’s cap hits would need to be shed off for the money to work. Could be traded off in separate deals. The cap would be fine as long as pelech stays on ltir for the regular season, with cap going up 4-6 mil next year, we’d have the money to keep him long term. Lee isn’t good enough for top line mins and kuz already has experience playing with bo. Could be a good fit 🤷♂️

He's not getting traded. The team loves him, fans love him, gets along well with Petey and a great personality in the dressing room. This new Canucks management is not stupid enough to sell low (Cough Jim Benning).

I could see the Caps trading for him. GMBM is looking to add to the top 6, they have cap space with Backstrom on LTIR and have some lower end prospects and/or picks that could be used.
