Clearly, the Blackhawks wanted to wash their hands of Perry and give him the space to make his statement outlining that his struggles were all his own doing. In his statements to the press, Kyle Davidson put the franchise first as you would expect. As a manager he needed to maintain the position that, no player or their issues can be allowed to envelope the team and what it stands for.
Well at least the truth comes out (Judge not lest yea be judged)
