Adam Gajan is positionally sound and may be the most athletic of the 2023 NHL goalie prospects. The Blackhawks clearly knew they would select a goalie prospect at the top of the 2nd round (#35 pick) and their European scouting is outstanding. They had their pick of any goalie and chose Adam Gajan over Michael Hrabel and Trey Augustine for good reason – he has the highest ceiling of the 2023 goalie prospects.
