  1. At the time of Salah's pass the ref was some 20 yards behind play but with a clear view that THREE Spurs players were close to Diaz's lateral line across the pitch. He therefore must/should have had some doubts about whether the linesman's offside ruling was clear-cut. If this was the case, his obvious procedure was to go to the VAR officials and state that the goal was being disallowed and ask if they had any reason why he should not do so.

  2. They won’t change it because the Premier League is OWNED by the Middle East. You all protested when they suggested a Super League, but it’s already gone.

  3. These incompetent refs must be s**ting themselves for last day of the season. Premier league winners and relegation battles? When they make a mess on that day, we will here serious calls for either VAR to be scraped altogether, or new refs to come in. It's only a matter of time before they truly screw a team over.

  4. All the VAR spokesman had to do was tell the on field referee that it was a goal. All they told him was check complete.

  5. Need to do it more like rugby. The onfield decision is this. Is there any reason to overturn it.

  6. The explanation given by PGMOL is untrue. Why did the VAR tell the scoreboard to put up offside if they think it is onside? Why did the assistant VAR clearly state it is offside after the kickoff?
