  1. From the roof, Steve doesn't look too amused by what's happening on the ice. What can we take with us in a loss! That the team actually blocks a lot of shots and keeps the numbers down after 60/min of play.

  2. Why am I not surprised. Just when we finally solved our Husso problem our scoring F'ed up what was supposed to be Husso's best performance of the year so far.

  3. Hard to win games when you cant win a face off.

Anyway move on, be great to win the next 2 games against philly and Anaheim.

  4. Our offense is how we this game not husso, like they said husso kept us in it, and they’re right, our offense didn’t get enough time in the zone and we weren’t aggressive enough against a really good dangerous defensive team

  5. Not the game I watched wings where out played all night we couldn't win a face off all night. Husso let his soft goal as normal. Wings where never in the game canes control the whole game

  6. i really think this team is going to pop off very soon. it takes time to build chemistry within groups and dial in all the little details. you can tell theres a true confidence in this group just wait til they really hit their stride night in and night out

  7. Kane is close to breaking out solo, or with some guys being able to handle his laser passes and finishing. We are being tested thru fire and we are missing some key guys. Canes have the same record as us, this was a tough game without our 2 best centers.

  8. I'm sure Kane is mad at himself for not converting the like 400 chances he's singlehandedly created his first 5 games, but I bet he's even angrier at the total situation and the team around and behind him in the 5 games. The circumstances, bad luck, and certain plays by certain teammates are really making him look bad, making it look like it's his fault, and wrecking what honestly is a miraculously good return. What this guy's put himself thru the last year to get to this point is incredible and he deserves to having a triumphant return here. Instead it's this nightmare. The Larkin incident was unavoidable but Perron removing himself for 2 weeks and Compher refusing to play till he's 150% (while 35yo Kane plays 20 mins a night on a metal hip) were very much in their control. I hope there is light at the end of the tunnel for him and that when guys start returning to the lineup he gets the benefit of it and never has to play w any linemates but the best available. He deserves to be put in the best position to succeed once the rust is all the way off and things start clicking. He is creating that many prime chances virtually by himself out of nothing already.
