  1. He should go to the Dodgers too, or the Yankees, it's good for baseball…..actually the rest of the league could just be a farm system for both of them……good for the game, don't you think Jon?

  2. Hunch/prediction: Yamamoto to the Yankees or Dodgers. Cease (or possibly Burnes) to the other — the one that doesn't land Yamamoto. Then the Cubs trade for Glasnow.

  3. "Latest news on Cody Bellinger!" … This is a 4 minute and 36 second long video and Bellingers name doesn't get mentioned until the 3 minute and 21 second mark and then he stops talking about him before the 4 minute mark… Jesus get it together is this account run by a BOT????

  4. Cody going to the Dodgers cuz it’s “good for baseball”. Isn’t that what you wanna say Jon?

  5. I hate when they do this. Make it out like something is breaking news when it is just a recap of what is already known.

Geez. I know it is a slow news cycle because 2 guys are holding up the market and half the free agents might not be signed until March at this rate.

Bring on some of these guys for interviews. Let's hear from the players about the stuff other than the money that intrigues them. Or about what they are hoping for to achieve a shot in the playoffs. About anything they did this past season or good batting, fielding or pitching tips.

Making the case for Hall of Fame players, the ones likely to get in, the ones not and who is on the borderline.

Who is likely on the Vets committee to have a chance to get in. Until there is something strong or a signing or trade happens, there is no reason to recap if there is nothing to add.

  6. I really believe Jordan Montgonery is going to either re-sign with Texas, or he'll go to the Red Sox.
His wife is starting her dermatology residence in Boston, and he is working out there during the offseason.

  7. With all the prospects and a 40 man roster full it's baffling they didn¡t do it with Randy. I still hope they're trying to get him (a separate trade) but is so far fetched that is quite disappointing tbh

  8. I think Snell ends up in Seattle. They cleared cap space; he's been seen up there alot since the season ended. Plus he's from the area, and has publicly commented he'd love to pitch there.

  9. The Royals are putting together a sneaky good off season. A couple more additions, and they could give the Twins a run for the division.

  10. St Louis' Walker and Winn to the White Sox for Dylan Cease. Maybe add Cardinal starting pitcher Matz, who can come out of bullpen too, to the package.
That's the kind of deal Chicago needs to make. Fill the left side of their infield with those two for many years, since Tim Anderson is gone.
St Louis needs one starting pitcher less than 35 years old for 2024.

  11. When will MLB realize that pitch counts, maximum 7 innings, 5 man rotations are no better a hindrance to injury than when guys like Seaver, Gibson, Jenkins and Ryan started 40+ games each year, finished most of them and worked in four man rotations?
