Rookie Zach Benson scored the go-ahead goal and assisted on the insurance marker and Casey Mittlestadt and Dylan Cozen each tallied three points a piece as the Buffalo Sabres defeated the Vegas Golden Knights 5-2.

Great win coming off the Colorado fiasco. Still way to soft in front of the net taking a man though. Put some asses on the ice and do your job out front.
Can’t win them all but the VGK were brutal with the turnovers in the 3rd period. Should credit Marchessault and Barbashev with assists on Buffalo’s 2nd and 4th goals lol. Only positive was Eichel extended his point streak to 9 games. On to the next. GKG

I cannot stand this buffalo team. They look this some nights, then other nights they look like when vs Colorado last night. I've never seen a team so consistently inconsistent
I remember Alex Tuch as a Knight he really liked playing for Vegas. Eichel is a better player but he costs twice as much. The argument should be made Tuch is worth more than 5 mill a year though.
Krebs has been an inconsistent player and Noah Östlund is just a prospect as of now. Buff also ended up getting Jordan Greenway from the knights 2nd round pick.
I would have to say overall the knights won this trade but I question if the knights knew how good Alex Tuch really was because I would rather have 2 Tuch's making 5 mill each over 1 Eichel making 10 mill a year.
Buff fans that said Eichel was a curse and such were just silly though. Your overall roster has to be good enough to win or a star player does not matter.

Nothing feels better than Buffalo beating cocky Vegas…so sweet.
Buffalo is a tough team, they have shown they can go on the road against the best in the NHL and come out with a win. Levi was outstanding.
