  1. Pretty sure luongo was a lifetime loser here and cry baby. Didnt we pay him for 5 years to go away? Why are they honouring that idiot?

  2. Still the best smile in all of coaching. I imagine you have to have a good sense of humour to coach in the NHL and still keep your sanity.

  3. I would love to see Alain Vigneault come out of retirement to coach Canada's Team! I do not think the Leafs are at their optimum and its all to do with corporate coaching.

  4. For the rest of my life, I'll always remember watching that game where the other player is taunting Bieksa and AV is visibly shaking, holding a paper up covering up all but his eyes, trying to suppress bursting out into laughter. Alain never took himself too seriously. I, on the other hand, did not try to suppress my laughter though at the moment. One of my favorite alltime Canucks coaches. Sad for him that he never got a ring in his two trips to the Big Dance.

  5. Great coach, all coaches have a shelf life and Alain just seemed to slide into that. When he was replaced I felt it was time, but appreciated all he had done and still thought he was an excellent coach.

  6. Vigneault was SUCH a great coach. I think his implication that our team would probably have won the Cup if they hadn't have been so much more banged up than Boston is absolutely correct. We had to get through some really tough teams and paid the price. Anyway, was so great to hear from him again in this interview. Loved the Lu night and Demko getting the shut out. Perfection.
