The Boston Bruins fell 2-1 to the New Jersey Devils thanks to an overtime beauty from Jack Hughes.
The loss came despite a strong effort from Jeremy Swayman in his return from an illness, and in a game where Morgan Geekie stepped up huge in Pavel Zacha’s absence.
Quite simply, the Bruins didn’t do enough to generate offense against a vulnerable Devils squad.
Plus, it appears as though Jakub Zboril’s time with the Bruins has come to an end as he was waived and is looking for an opportunity elsewhere.

bruins got outplayed.. again.. could of Used mcavoy,zacha, end of the day it's the same thing 80% of the games we get outplayed bad and just rely on our goalies way too much, we have guys like pasty who will get chances, and create there own scoring chances but spend most the game chasing the puck.. trade ullmark for a top 6 forward, love him but we can't play 2 goalies at the same time when the games matter, we are 2 forwards short to compete when the games matter
We really do miss Lucic. Also we missing depth scoring, expected more from my Czech mate Lauko. Also wishing luck to Zboril, there was no place for him in Boston, gl elswhere.
