The Minnesota Wild improved to 7-2 under John Hynes as they beat Vancouver 2-1 in a shootout at Xcel Energy Center. The Wild took the early lead on a goal by Freddy Gaudreau. There was no further scoring after Vancouver tied the score in the second, and the game went to overtime. 1. A wildly boring game……
Faber is going to be Brodin but not as fragile/soft……
EXACTLY RIGHT SETH, THE WILD ARE NOT .500 they are 12-16 which is 4 games below 500…….Trade Kirill at the deadline before that NMC kicks in HE ISNT RESIGNING IN MN he will play for the RANGERS IN 4years.

  2. My thoughts on today's show
To start Hunt has played his way on the team, he closes the gap well he skates
Better than Merrill kosky, he steps up on play when he should and has a shooting mentality, with Mermis Hunt
As third line , we have very solid 3 lines
It so nice to see the kids play
Gus the Bus is the best goalie in the West maybe the whole league,
And Faber which I talked about last week, and really got no response
Faber is an elite player I don't say that lightly, he's in the class of Makar and Bobby Orr, Judd Bracket
Pulled another rabbit out of his hat,
I would disagree Seth on getting to the playoffs, not only do I think we fight first for first place , I can see us Go a very long way in the playoffs, the biggest difference, we won't get out coached
And we have Gus the Bus he's the difference maker

  3. Faber’s anticipation and play is something beyond his years. He is a sore player tonight, taking a shot off the foot, like Boeser – both in the same sequence. Thank heavens both continued to play. We start the 2nd and 3rd periods killing off 1:20+ which was a receipt for disaster. Vancouver is the real deal right now, like Winnipeg / AZ, can they play a full 82 games at this level of play? We are starting to see some of the teams in front of the Wild slide, it’s a long season and many of these teams have played spring hockey pressure free. When the points become critical, let’s see how they handle significant games.
Gusty is so square to the puck right now, even in the SO, play him as mentioned. Why is 97 taking the SO’s with Freddy sitting? Last observation, why not make the playoffs and potentially ride a hot goalie like St. Louis did a few years back. You never know until you punch the ticket what might happen. Great game to be at and not watching the Vikings 🤡

  4. Mediocrity…it's the Minnesota way! And the people support it by being shills and filling seats. You cannot modify owner's behavior by making his pockets fuller by allowing poverty of expectations. For those that don't get it Craig Leipold doesn't care if the Wild ever win a Stanley Cup. He wants full seats all season and revenue from getting beat in 1st round. That satisfies him!
