I can recall all of the criticism I received from the Jets fanbase when I said (last year) that PLD & Wheeler were two guys that NEEDED to go. Now that they're gone we are seeing the fruits of my predictions LOL Hope you're doing well bro! Great coverage as always bro! 🙂✌🏼

Nah the 2017/18 season the Jets were ok. They never looked this good! Wheeler skated slower than a toddler, Laine sat around waiting for the puck to come to him and Sheifle made those guys look better. Laine, Trouba, Dubois, Wheeler are a slow grinding cancer for a team because they all want more money than what they are worth! Attitude is everything and those guys didn’t have it! Jets got rid of all the guys they needed to and kept the best of the best and my personal favourite players in the league in Connor and Ehlers!
The Jets were in 1st place around this time last year, but this year it feels more sustainable.
I’m buying an Ehlers Jersey asap!
Let's not forget about the genius move of giving Lowry the captaincy; that's what really drove home the point that it's not all about who puts up the most goals or who makes the biggest dent in the salary cap but is also about the guys who have no quit, and that's something that everyone on the team has bought into.
The Jets are off to a fantastic start and, other than suffering a bunch of injuries, cant see them sliding into a January slump this year. This team is built differently, and the chemistry seems terrific. The leaders (17, 55, 44) are doing just that by example. We will see at the halfway mark if they are Cup contenders…
Let's not get to excited, but I feel ya.
