Chicago can’t get another 1st overall pick because of the new draft rules where a team can’t win 2 or more draft lottery’s in 5 years
bit of a correction, you CAN win the 1st more than twice in five years, you just can't win to improve your draft position. so if the hawks finish last and get the 1st overall pick, they'll be eligible to win it again in 2025, even if they arent the last place team
This time last year I said we’d get Bedard and I was told I was crazy. We’re getting Celebrini too.

Don’t forget how rigged the draft lottery is.
As a Blackhawks fan my whole life this might be more exciting than when they had Toews/Kane. With the draft capital and extensive cap space they have it will be interesting how they build this team. Right now they have cap flexibility but down the road is when they will have to be creative. Yet I do believe they will have more draft picks after the trade deadline because of how robust and how young their roster is. I truly believe in a couple years there will be many high profile players begging to play for Chicago. The future looks brighter than a solar eclipse.

The scariest thing is if Chicago finishes 32nd and win the lottery it doesn't count as winning it in terms of ecluding them from winning it again in the near future
I see Celebrini as kind of a mildly lesser Bedard. I think a really nifty winger with great hands would be the best pairing with Bedard. Literally someone exactly like Patrick Kane lol
As a Blackhawks fan and a huge Celebrini Fan.I rather draft Silayev or Levshunov.We need a Top Pairing Defensemen.I’d love Mack or Cole Eiserman but Chicago needs a Damn.Seth Jones is ok and Korchinski is set to be a Norris Canidate. Silayev would be a huge Upgrade.But Celebrini would be insane.
Should look at Levshunov, you ain't gonna get another opportunity at a RD as good as him, he could be the Letang to bedard's crosby but WAY better than letang, they could really make a dynasty, chigago has lots of good forward prospects but no note worthy defense prospects

I know the Blackhawks see the vast potential of getting celebrini on our team and him being on the same line with Bedard for years to come is more than worth it to keep losing. He would be a fantastic addition to the Blackhawks and then come next season or 2 we’ll be back on top
ya what happens when bettman dont punish ur team with taking away first overall picks for covering up a sex scandal its a joke to see this team being rewarded for bad conduct
As a hawks fan watching Connor roll out there with a very suspect roster this is my hope. They have prospects coming but this is a full blown rebuild and tank. The roster sucks currently hopefully these last couple years of shit teams will be worth it for years to come
