Roam I am convinced that this team is still in it's head. I mean we've seen what this team can do when they play up to their skill level they can beat anyone in the league. This team isn't afraid to LOSE this team is afraid to WIN. Because winning means there is an expectation and they don't have that CONFIDENCE to know who they are and can beat anyone and should beat anyone. It's that swagger that is needed. (just watch Levi he has that swagger)

See that's the difference between last year's team and this year's team. Last year they were never out of a game. They always fought till the very end. You always saw the effort till the end, and that's what made the fans fall in love with this group. We respected their heart and effort and all that disappeared this summer.
I wanted to blame UPL.. but he only gave up 2… we should win.. but to be blanked… I can't blame a goalie when they lose in a shutout.. I agree, something smells.. I guess I'm too far away to really see fully what it might be.. but right now, this team is not playing like last year.. last year they scored.. this year… nothing… except for Benson, and that 3rd/4th line… our first two lines might as well stay on the bench

The boys are melting under of the pressure of expectations. The boys have fun we win. The boys skate scared we lose.
Tage looks stressed and off his game. He's not playing lose. The group in total plays to tight. Not enough forward press. And fun out there
Robinson magic has worn off, no hits. Tage Thompson we might want to try to trade him, he’s always hurt as is his buddy Tuch, we can’t count on these guys, Samuelson always hurt, Jost is useless always stripped of puck, Ollofsson is useless now…This season has been a nightmare for our number 1 center who hurt his hand but for some reason can’t seem to skate anymore, not sure how an injured hand prevents you from giving 100% effort. Mike Modano beat us in cup final with a broken wrist. I’m not sure how we are supposed to make the playoffs with a team with so many guys who are always hurt and when they come back can’t score for half a season. Instead of having Greenway play 17 games last year hurt or playing Tage when he’s hurt, sit him out for a few years until he can build some muscle and drink milk to get strong. Play guys who are healthy.

In fairness to Tuch and Thompson they both came back early from injury. Id love to see them hit more of course but I doubt they are playing 100 percent.
Wayne hasn’t watched a lot of Carolina games it’s obvious. Rannta let in 8 goals on 14 shots a few weeks back. Guy is terrible
Iv noticed this the boys don't shoot to score they shoot to just get it on net and we can't just hit the net in the first place
im not happy with dahlins play.. the things he does great are the things he gets for "free" because he is so talented. but every game he has these non-chalante plays offensively and defensly that are meant to "wow" the crowd, but that doesn win you hockey games… i want him angry. i want him skating the puck to the net and mash that puck in – so they can win games.

this forward group has a bunch of talented mishy mushy bunch of players that doesnt play with weight, except robinson. robinson plays with weight. if they are serious about this season, they should make some trades right now. that or be transparent that they have already given up.
100% agree with you Wayne!!!! Granato needs to go, he did his job keeping these guys together now we need to go to the next level with a coach that has balls and heart for the team.

Wayne, thanks for continuing to make videos. I know it's hard. I'm 54 now and sick of this too. Hell at this pace we will be dead by the time they win a cup. Pegula should sell the team. He is a damn curse. Won't hire a veteran GM or coach. Wants yes men.. I can't stand the style of hockey they play. The new NHL I guess.
Why do you think Power Play is horrible? No one can make any type of Skill Plays with puck and passing blows… 37 Can’t Pass or Shoot, he got lucky in Vegas…
Granato is the 'I'm not mad, I'm disappointed' type. Sabres need a coach who gets mad. Someone who can make the players play mad. And a NEW PP COACH.
These guys have been playing soft hockey for so long that I doubt they would respond to a tougher coach. This group would probably regress further. At this point I don't think a coaching change would matter. It's time to start moving out some actual value and start bringing in more pain in the ass to play against players
Thompson is going to finish this season with a massive drop in goals and points……same with Cozens

Joel Quenneville may not be eligible. I guess that depends on the commissioner. Gerard Gallant seems to be a good choice but always seems to be let go even with a winning record. Not interested in Bruce Boudreau. You should make a video about who is out there and what each might bring to the sabres.
They shot WIDE all night and didn't play physical enough.

Granato is fine what the Sabres need is a hard ass captain – Dahlin needs to be captain – Okoposo, Olofsson. Erik Johnson, need to be traded – Kulich, Savoie, Vsevolod Komarov need to be brought up – one big trade 2024 1st and 2nd 2025 1st and 2nd, Jost and Östlund for Hertl 2mil retained.
Trade Dahlin get some really good parts for him. Get a coach that shows emotion. We need to fire these young kids up. The potential is there.
I thought UPL played great but I mentioned this last season, he cannot handle the puck. I thought the team played well but our guys just could not put the puck on goal. They are missing by a mile. GMKA brought Greenway, Stillman, Clifton, Johnson, and now Robinson in to give the team grit to help with Cozens and Dahlin. I hope it isnt Granato changing these players.
Buffalo is a traditional hockey town and their hockey team should be making the playoffs regularly. 13 years is way beyond unacceptable. And to be a proper traditional hockey team, they need all facets of the game, offense, defense, hitting, toughness, goal-tending and a coach that demands to win.
I can't ever not root for my hometown teams. It is something else to support the management when we see the organization take major steps forward only to regress dramatically the following season. The problems are due to a weak coaching staff, even Stevie Wonder can see that. I am waiting for Kevyn Adams to pull the trigger and make a drastic change, and I hope that it's sooner rather than later.
I agree 100% with you, Wayne, but what can we do? This keeps on repeating constantly, and that is mostly on coaching. These guys need hard nosed, pissed off veteran coach, who wouldn't allow this to happen every other game, it is beyond ridicilous now. Team needs whole change on coaching staff, HC and whole board of assistant coaches. Time to wash out the stench. Stay healthy Wayne and hope changes are coming. Thanks for your continued support and effort making this every other day.
